Digital Story Reflection
At first I was a bit confused on how to create a digital story. I did not know what I wanted my story to be about; I had so many different ideas. I had a set story in mind, but after learning that the digital story must be created by me, I was completely overwhelmed. It took a couple of tries on creating a story. I knew that I wanted my digital story to revolve around children. After searching through a couple of images online, I found a really cute image that I decided to create my digital story with.
I created my digital story based on the images that I had found on the internet. The images were very delightful and engaging, so it was fairly easy to narrate the story. Using Photostory 3 on Windows made creating the digital story less stressful and surprisingly, enjoyable. One problem I had while using Photostory 3 was the textbox, for some reason it was not typing the words in the right location. I decided to do a voice recording as a narration instead.
I decided that the story would be so much more amusing if I used a little girl that was energetic and enthusiastic as my narrator. I was really pleased that this little girl was willing to participate in creating my story. I really enjoyed putting the story together. I believe that the outcome of my digital story was a success. Now that I have learned how to create a digital story, I plan on implementing them into my lesson plans in the future.
